The words intent, attend and attention come from the Latin tendere
which means to stretch. I explained my intent to the audience, that,
if they were comfortable with the idea, I wanted them to be in physical
contact with one or more people the entire time the candle was lit.
"Hold hands, lean, play footsies or what have you, but try to be in
contact with each other."

Musicians were told to work with the idea of creating and supporting:
to think about what makes a ritual.
Invocation of things you love, that which you wish to embody.
Intend to hear each other and be heard.
