While working for the Post Carbon Institute I was asked to create a Solar Car Share Monthly Cost Comparison Calculator. This is built in Drupal with custom php coding.

Post Carbon owned seven electric vehicles and was starting up a car share business. They wanted to make it easy for car share users to compare the cost of renting an electric vehicle to the overall cost of owning your own vehicle.

The project is defunct but the site was still active last I checked. Try the link or download an example of Cost Comparison Results (PDF).
