Embraced by the beauty of the land and the meditative peacefulness of Menla, we will explore asanas and meditation practices that help us open to the wisdom of the heart. Menla Mountain Retreat Center is a beautiful oasis on 320 acres in the Catskill Mountains, two hours from New York City. It is run by the Tibet House and offers meditation and healing retreats throughout the year. Surrounded by a national forest preserve, Menla offers complete privacy in a tranquil setting. http://www.menla.org Our weekend yoga practice will start Friday evening with restorative yoga and meditation. Saturday we will practice for 1.5 hours in the morning and late afternoon. Sunday we will have a juicy 3 hour morning yoga practice, followed by a delicious lunch. There will be plenty of time to enjoy the hiking trails, swim in the pool, or lounge in the sun!!
